Writings by Jim Swanson. After 30 years, I have returned to writing prose and poetry, much the result of taking a local creative writing course. Many of the pieces are the result of weekly assignments. They are works in progress. This practice has deeply touched me and given me a new window on life. I feel the stories and the poems as I write them. It can be difficult, but the results are snapshots of my life, life in general, and maybe something that might touch you.
